About the project

For this project, we worked on a charming four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Doubleview. The homeowners wanted to rejuvenate their back door and have their surrounding window frames painted, which had suffered deterioration from weather exposure over the years.

Our process began with meticulous preparation. Using a Mirka dustless sander, we smoothed the surface of the frame, ensuring a clean, even base for the new paint. To protect the glass during the painting process, we carefully applied iQuip tape, keeping everything neat and precise.

We then applied an undercoat to create a durable foundation for the final finish. Once the undercoat dried, we followed up with two coats of gloss paint, giving the frame a sleek and polished look.

The result was a beautifully revitalised back door and window frame that not only enhanced the home’s appearance but also provided durable protection against future weather damage.
